Adam & Eve

Generally, almost all Christians believe that the first human beings on our planet is Adam and then Eve. They were created by God in the Garden of Eden. Then Adam and Eve sinned against God and God commanded them to get out of the paradise or the Garden. After that incident, Adam and Eve had two sons, namely; Cain and Abel. (Genesis 3,4,5)

THE EVIDENCE

Cain went east of the Garden of Eden after he killed Abel (Genesis 4:16). There he had a wife (Genesis 4:17). Wait a minute! If Adam and Eve were the first human beings on earth and they had two sons, where in the world did Cain got a wife if there are no people prior to them?

Most Christians will tell us that Cain married his sister. Is there a verse in the Bible that supports this answer? Let’s read Genesis 5:1-4 (KJV):

Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Wait! The Bible declares that Adam had sons and daughters after Seth. Adam was 800 years old! Let us be reminded that when Adam and Eve had their first and second son: Cain and Abel, the Bible did not say that they had daughters also. They had daughters after Seth. Therefore, Cain got his wife from other human beings living in the east of the Garden of Eden and not among Adam & Eve’s offspring.

ANOTHER EVIDENCE

CAIN’S KILLER

Cain said in Genesis 4:13 (GNB):

Gen 4:13 And Cain said to the LORD, “This punishment is too hard for me to bear.
Gen 4:14 You are driving me off the land and away from your presence. I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth, and anyone who finds me will kill me.”

If Cain knew that they were the only human beings living on the planet, how come he said “ANYONE WHO FINDS ME WILL KILL ME”? From his words, it is clear that there are other human beings living during their lifetime.

CAIN’S MARK

Another astonishing evidence is the mark given by God to cain. In Genesis 4:15 God said:

“But the LORD answered, “No. If anyone kills you, seven lives will be taken in revenge.” So the LORD put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who met him not to kill him…”

Even God knows that there are other people living on Earth at the same time when God created Adam and Eve. It is very illogical to think that there are no human beings just Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel and then God will say “If anyone”and “seven lives”?

CONCLUSION:

The evidence is overwhelming. From the statement of God and Cain himself. There are people living EAST of the Garden of Eden. Therefore, Adam and Eve are the first human beings IN THE GARDEN but not necessarily the first humans on this planet. Please read our Bibles carefully, prayerfully and seriously.
